We are a registered contractor with GA Power, a local sponsor of national Home Performance with Energy Star program.
We are a register contractor with the City of Atlanta and our retrofit work qualifies for rebates under the SHINE program.
WHAT is HOME PERFORMANCE WITH ENERGY STAR - Home performance with Energy Star program is a US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and US DOE (Department of Energy) program designed to reduce energy usage in existing homes.
WHAT WE DO - Rather than concentrating on a single component of the house that may or may not be the primary contributor to energy loss, we offer a whole-house approach. Utilizing building science principles and state of the art diagnostic equipment we pinpoint thermal loss sites. Perspective improvements are prioritized in A, B, C, D order based on cost-effectiveness and we let our clients choose the work scope that meets their budget and needs. Upon agreeing on terms we conduct improvement work in strong compliance with ENERGY STAR program requirements. We conduct a test out after our improvement work is complete and an independent third party verifies the results.
